Baton Live features three main components: our Family Adventure Events, the Competition, and the Awards Showcase. While we are primarily a baton and dance competition, we've designed this event to be enjoyable for the entire family. We've incorporated a variety of exciting adventures to ensure that not only your twirlers will be eager to attend, but the whole family will want to join in the fun.
Participating in Baton Live! events will enrich your stay immesurably. We have organized experiences that will test your knowledge of Universal Studios, awaken your competitive spirit, and make memories to last a lifetime.

Below you will find our 4 Major Family Adventures. From December 28- January 2 there will be major and minor adventure events running throughout the day at Universals Cabana Bay Beach Resort. At the time of registration, everyone will be given The "Telegraph" which is our daily calendar of events. Individual Baton Events
Miss Universal Pageant, Triple Threat Championship, Box Office Hit (Men's Solo), Artistic Twirl, Artistic Pair, Solo, 2-Baton, 3-Baton, Duet, Best Appearing, Basic Strut, X-Strut, and Military Strut
Skill Levels: Novice/Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced/Elite
Age Levels: 0-5/6-8/9-11/12-14/15-17/18+
Competitive age: **age as of the day of competition**
Group Baton Events
Artistic Team, Artistic Group, Dance Twirl Team, Twirl Team, College Majorette Team, and Trio
Skill Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced
Age Levels: Primary, Juvenile, Junior, and Senior
Competitive age: **Day of Competition**
Dance Events
Dance Solo, Dance Duet, Trio, Small Team, Large Team
Skill Levels:
Beginner(Less then 4 hours of training a week)

2025 Awards
Miss Universal Pageant Championship
Miss Universal is our pageant competition encompassing modeling in a T pattern (no baton and no interview), Solo and X-Strut for beginner, intermediate, advanced and elite divisions. Novice athletes perform a basic strut in a square.
Triple Threat Championship
Athletes participate in an Interview, Solo and 2-Baton.
The Box Office Hit - Men's Solo Championship
Exciting Men's solo championship offered for Junior and Senior athletes.
Group High Point Champions (Baton & Dance)
Highest Score received in the Group competition including trios.
Musicality Award
The recognition is designated for a solo athlete, or a team that demonstrates remarkable musicality.
Universal Photogenic
The photo that stands out the most to the judges. Can be Male or Female.
The Standing Ovation (Group)
The best overall performance delivered by a group.
The Standing Ovation (Individual)
The best overall performance delivered by an individual athlete.
5, 6, 7, 8 Dance Champion
An outstanding dance performance by an individual or duet.
The Best in the BIZ! (Coaches Award)
This award will be given to a performance demonstrating innovative ideas, and creativity, leading us into the future!
Universal's Got Talent **Talent Show Champion** (Open to all)
This award will be given to an outstanding performace in another feild other then baton and dance.
